Who am I?

Hi! My name is Jillian (she/her). I’m an artist and community arts worker, and I work primarily in printmaking and film photography! But in true ADHD fashion, my art practice is also made up of playful explorations in oil painting, gardening, natural dyeing, book binding, textiles, poetry, illustration, digital art, coloring, zine making… you get the picture. I’m also a queer, white settler, who is neurodivergent, and disabled.

From my experience as both an artist, and an arts worker, I understand the immense barriers disabled people face in the arts sector, especially when applying for grant funding. In my role as a grant writing assistant, I’m here to help you navigate those barriers. My approach is rooted in care, collaboration, and a deep respect for your unique expertise and vision.

Whether you’re new to grant writing or looking to refine your proposals, I offer a non-judgmental, supportive space to help you craft compelling applications that reflect the heart of your work.
